Gavin recently opened a new year six classroom at St Thomas More Primary School, located in Great Wyrley, where he also gave an assembly to students at the school.
Speaking about the visit, Gavin said ‘It was fantastic to be able to visit St Thomas More and to have the honour of opening the new classroom for year six students here. It was particularly special for me as I used to be a governor of this wonderful school, so it was great to be able to visit and to hear about all the exciting new changes they have made. Meeting some of the pupils was a real pleasure and I very much enjoyed having the opportunity to speak with them and answer some of their questions about what it is I do.’
