Sir Gavin Williamson met with residents in Cheslyn Hay for a coffee morning in Salem Church.
Sir Gavin chatted with locals over cakes and coffees which was a great way to meet more people from the village. The money raised during the coffee morning will go to Action for Children, a charity dedicated to helping vulnerable children and young people. The Church has an active social calendar, with events ranging from coffee mornings, a knitathon, a tabletop sale, and a skittles and quiz evening.
Sir Gavin said: “It was great to pop along to the coffee morning at Salem Church in Cheslyn Hay. The church is always so friendly and it was lovely to meet so many new faces at the same time as supporting such a worthy cause.”
