Sir Gavin Williamson attended the Great Wyrley Carnival to celebrate the start of summer alongside his constituents.
Sir Gavin enjoyed a visit to the popular summertime event and where he met with constituents and helped judge the procession of floats.
Great Wyrley Carnival is a highlight of the local community’s social calendar, and it proved as popular as ever this year. There was no shortage of entertainment on offer, from a funfair and a dog show to a baking contest and a Disney-themed fancy dress competition.
Sir Gavin said: “As ever, it was fantastic to spend the day at the Great Wyrley Carnival. I particularly enjoyed judging the floats and was very impressed with the effort participants had gone to. I’d like to thank the wonderful volunteers who made this event possible and who continue to ensure that the village’s social life is vibrant and varied.”
