Sir Gavin Williamson attended the first-ever Stafford Pride event on 10th August.
The event was held in the heart of Stafford and marked a historic moment for the community as residents came together to celebrate the diversity and inclusivity of Staffordshire.
During the event, Sir Gavin took part in the Pride march, walking alongside representatives from various local organisations, including the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent Archives and Heritage Service. Sir Gavin also visited Victoria Park, the site of the Pride festival, and spoke with representatives of local charities who do such good work in Staffordshire.
Gavin said: "It was wonderful to attend the first ever Stafford Pride in the centre of Stafford. The event was a fantastic demonstration of the strong, supportive, and inclusive spirit of Staffordshire. I want to thank all those involved who did so much to organise the event and ensure that it was a success."
