Sir Gavin Williamson joined local tour guide David Evans to learn more about Brewood and its history.
Sir Gavin took a journey through Brewood’s past with local expert and tour guide David Evans, who has lived in the village for eighty years. The tour began opposite Speedway Castle, at the top of Stafford Street, and featured many notable local sites.
Mr Evans set up Brewood Tours to help both visitors and local residents learn more about the village, with personal anecdotes adding colour to the area’s history. Alongside the popular and highly-rated tours, Mr Evans also regularly provides insight into other aspects of local history via his Facebook group, “Brewood Tours”.
