Sir Gavin Williamson visited Westfield Primary School in Wombourne, where he held a Q&A with students about his role as a Member of Parliament.
In an engaging discussion with students, Sir Gavin answered questions ranging from how we can reach our net zero targets to how we can fix potholes in South Staffordshire.
Sir Gavin said: “I was delighted to speak with students at Westfield Primary School about my role as Member of Parliament. Politics impacts everything around us, and it is so important that our youth are encouraged to be engaged in the decisions that impact their lives. It was also a pleasure to see the fantastic progress the school is making under the leadership of Emma Lote. I pay tribute to everyone from staff, pupils and parents for their efforts in making Westfield a fantastic place to learn.”
