Sir Gavin Williamson MP met local business owners around South Staffordshire to show his support for Small Business Saturday and encourage residents to shop local.
Small Business Saturday is grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which celebrates small business success and encourages consumers to 'shop local' and to support businesses in their communities year-round.
Sir Gavin’s visits included Bella Amore in Wombourne, Connie’s Pet Shop in Kinver, and Maiden’s Butchers in Brewood, amongst many others.
Sir Gavin said: “It was fantastic to join residents in Wombourne, Kinver, and Brewood to celebrate Small Business Saturday. The day was a great reminder for us to support the fantastic businesses in South Staffordshire who make our towns and villages what they are.
“I would encourage everyone looking to do their Christmas shopping to shop local this Christmas and take advantage of all these businesses have to offer us.”
