Sir Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, recently visited Kinver Point Business Village alongside Councillor Geoff Sisley.
Sir Gavin and Councillor Sisley met with Simon Guinness, Director of Kinver Point Business Village, for a tour of the site and to speak with the various businesses who have offices there.
Kinver Point Business Village’s mission statement is to take redundant farm buildings and re-purpose them into high quality, energy efficient spaces for local businesses to grow and establish themselves in.
The business village has been developed within the farmyard of the former Hill Farm in Kinver. It is Kinver’s only dedicated commercial centre, enabling business owners and their staff to work local and minimise commuter travel.
Simon Guinness said: “It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sir Gavin to Kinver Point Business Village. He was genuinely interested in talking to the business owners and seeing for himself the quality jobs that have been created for young local people in the IT and Media industries.”
Sir Gavin said: “Kinver Point Business Village is a terrific example of addressing local businesses’ needs for office space in a way that preserves and honours our pastoral heritage. I thoroughly enjoyed visiting the site and speaking to the businesses about their unique office spaces.”
