Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited the Upper Hatton Stables, in Coven, this week.
Gavin took a tour of the livery yard and riding school, which as part of its range of activities offers Equine Facilitated Learning for disabled children and children with learning difficulties.
During the course of his visit, Gavin learnt about the services that the equestrian centre offers and met a number of the Stable’s current pupils.
Gavin said: “The Stable is a truly inspirational school, which offers many children with physical and mental learning disabilities truly valuable equestrian training.
“Not only do these children gain a skill that they will keep for life, but they also receive the added confidence that such an experience will provide.”
The Upper Hatton Stables offers lessons for all levels of horse riding and provides training from an AI qualified instructor in its indoor school.
The Stable also provides own a pony days, pony birthday parties, horse and stable management courses, dressage and jumping clinics.
