Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, will be giving a talk to the Codsall Wood Women’s Institute, on May 23.
The event, which will be held in St. Peter’s Hall, will see Gavin discuss his role as an MP and the work that he undertakes on a daily basis, both in his constituency and in Westminster.
On the talk, Gavin said: “This is the first time that I will be addressing the Codsall Wood Women’s Institute and I am honoured to have been invited to speak on this occasion.
“I am very much looking forward to talking about the intrigues and conspiracies that go on in Parliament, as well as the challenges of balancing life as an MP with being a husband and a father.”
Gavin will also reveal how he became an MP, in 2010, after working for a number of years in the manufacturing sector.
During this period, he successfully turned around a struggling pottery in Staffordshire and became the Managing Director of an architectural design firm, which was involved in the design of many schools, public sector and commercial buildings.
