Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited newly opened café The China Teacup in Wombourne.
The new coffee shop opened to the public earlier this week and is the concept of Trysull residents Dawn Griffiths and her daughter Emma.
The traditional coffee shop will sell a large selection of coffee and tea as well as a variety of freshly made cakes and sandwiches.
On the opening, Gavin said: “It is always wonderful to be able to welcome new businesses to our high streets. Small and medium sized businesses are thriving right now in South Staffordshire.
“The China Teacup is a great example of the sort of start-ups we want to be attracting to our villages and I very much look forward to visiting the shop when I come to Wombourne.”
