Sir Gavin Williamson opened the Codsall Summer Show and visited stalls run by local businesses.
Sir Gavin attended the annual event in Codsall and spoke with a range of local businesses present, from butchers to craft-makers. The event was comprised of 53 stalls as well as a dog show, and managed to raise over £3000.
Codsall Summer Show is organised by the Codsall Community Group, a volunteer organisation who organise various events as well as the upkeep of local amenities. They also work to preserve the green spaces within the local parish.
Sir Gavin said "I thoroughly enjoyed my day at the Codsall Summer Show and was heartened to see such a strong turnout of local residents and businesses. I thank the Codsall Community Group for organising such a successful event and for being such an active presence in the town. I look forward to attending next year’s edition of the Show and seeing it continue to thrive.”
