Gavin Williamson, MP for South Staffordshire, visited Codsall Flowers at their shop this weekend to celebrate 20 years of being in business at their shop.
Gavin visited the shop where he congratulated staff on their anniversary before being shown how many of their popular arrangements are created.
Staff at the shop also held a raffle with the proceeds donated to South Staffordshire First Responders who were also in attendance at the celebration. The group of volunteers, who with training from and under the control of the West Midlands Ambulance Service providing invaluable emergency life support until the arrival of the Ambulance Service.
On his visit, Gavin said: “It was a massive honour to be invited to help celebrate Codsall Flowers’ 20th anniversary with them and I greatly enjoyed being able to meet all the members of staff at this wonderful family-run business.
“I was thrilled to hear that the proceeds from their raffle would be going towards the South Staffordshire First Responders. The First Responders is an incredible organisation, whose dedicated supporters have saved countless lives. I cannot praise enough these selfless volunteers, who give so much of their time and effort towards helping others.”
